Background
Lindsay Parlee is from the Portland area. She went to Tualatin High and played club soccer for F.C. Portland. As the keeper and captain for the varsity soccer team she helped bring two state titles to TuHS. She also helped the FC Portland Maroon secure 5 consecutive Oregon Youth Soccer state Championships. Lindsay and the FC Portland Maroon also went on to take second twice at the youth soccer Regional tournament.
Lindsay went on to attend Washington State University (2007-2009). She played two seasons for the Cougars, acting as the starting keeper during her sophomore year. Lindsay then transferred to the University of Oregon where she now plays. After splitting time during 2010 preseason, she earned the starting spot. She is going into her senior year as a Duck and has been named captain for the second year in a row.
Lindsay is finishing her degree in Human Physiology at the University of Oregon and intends on attending Medical School in the future.
Lindsay began coaching in high school. Primarily she did individual lessons for young goalkeepers. She has worked multiple camps as both the head and assistant goalkeeper coach. This past winter (2011) she worked with the U10-U12 EMFC goalkeepers and the U15-U18 EMFC female goalkeepers. Currently, she is also working with the U11 Sol Blue as the assistant coach to Robin Bostwick. She also assists Mac Wilson on U16 Magic Blue.
