Background
Jeremy has been involved in the soccer community here in Eugene for the last 12 years as a top level player. He played with the Lane Community College Titans in 1999 when they won league over the UofO and OSU before going on and placing well in the National Tournament. Playing in the Men's 'A' league and in the local Latino league, Jeremy is an intense player and often plays a coaches roll on his teams.
Jeremy was the girls JV Head Coach at South Eugene High School. During this time, Jeremy's teams have been the strongest and most successful in the Mid Western League at that level. For the last two years Jeremy has organized and facilitated summer trainings focusing on Speed/Agility and incorporating ACL prevention strategies, for the girls attending South Eugene.
Jeremy has coached for EMFC for the last four years. He was the Head Coach of the girl's U12/13 Phoenix first in 2006 and 2007. He was the Head Coach of the boy's U13/14 Rangers. Players on Jeremy's teams have benefited by his tactful and comprehensive approach to Coaching.
In 2008 Jeremy took on the Head Coach position for the Top Soccer Program. He looks forward to any and every opportunity to help youth players develop their skills, become part of a community and to develop a passion for the sport.
In addition, Jeremy has also been a staff coach at the successful Little Metro program for EMFC younger players.
Attending the University of Oregon, Jeremy Graduated with a Bachelor in Family and Human Services. Jeremy has 13 years experience working with youth and families for the YMCA as a Child Care and Summer Camp Director. Jeremy is working at Madison Middle School in the Regional Learning Center. He works as a one on one with and Autistic boy and teaches and assists in many other classes.
