Background

Coach Ellis comes to Eugene with a long history coaching at the college, ODP and club levels in the Northwest. Currently he is the Head Women?s Soccer Coach at Lane Community College. In 2008 he served as the First Assistant Head Coach at Clackamas Community College?s Women?s program leading them to a 13-8-4 record on route to a NWAACC Southern Region Title and appearance and the NWAACC Semi-finals. He also represented Clackamas as a coach in the 2008 All-Star Game.

Dave is in his third year as an Oregon ODP staff coach. Currently assigned as the 94 boys assistant coach. He has previously served as the Head coach for the 94 and 95 boys ?B? teams winning their division of Nike Friendship Cup and the Utah ODP friendlies.

On the club front Coach Ellis has coached multiple teams and held leadership roles in 3 different organizations, most recently as Assistant Director of Coaching for CPSC Timbers in Vancouver Washington. At Timbers his Boys 93 Red reached the Semi-finals of Washington State Championship Cup, the US Club Regionals, Las Vegas Turkey Shoot, and won the Puma Pacific Coast Challenge. Prior to Timbers Dave was the Director of Coaching at Corvallis FA and Youth Director for Oregon United Soccer Academy.
