Background

Brett grew up playing soccer in Phoenix, AZ for the Sereno Soccer Club.  As a youth he helped his teams to 2 State Club Titles and 2 Runner up finishes.  At the U19 age he helped his team to a 3rd place result at the regional tournament.

In high school Brett set numerous records for goalkeepers at Desert Vista HS(6A).  He was selected to the Central Conference 1st Team twice, the Tempe All Selection team twice and first team all-state as a senior.  As a senior he captained his team to the state semifinals.  Brett also spent 2 years playing for the Arizona state and Region IV ODP teams.

Collegiately Brett played for UC Riverside, Yavapai JC and Corban University.  As a freshmen Brett set, and still holds goalkeeping records at UC Riverside.   As a sophomore he played for Yavapai JC where the team won the 2002 Junior College National Championship.  He concluded his career at Corban University in Salem earning team MVP honors in both seasons and captain honors as a senior.  Brett went on to play 3 seasons with the Cascade Surge in the PDL('05-'06 & '08) and part of a season with AFC Waldorf ('06) in Germany.

As a coach Brett has spent time working with players of many different ages and abilities.  He has coached at numerous camps and clinics while spending time coaching with multiple clubs throughout Arizona and Oregon.  He comes to EMFC after working as the Boy's Technical Director for the Keizer Soccer Club.  Brett has spent 4 years coaching at the collegiate level with Grand Canyon University, Corban University and Northwest Christian University.  He currently serves as the Director of Soccer at Northwest Christian University, serving as head coach for both the men's and women's teams.
