Background

Alex Dakers has been coaching with EMFC since 2009, and was a member of the state-semifinalist EMFC U18 Black team in 2007-08. He is a graduate of South Eugene High School, and currently attends the University of Oregon, where he spent to years with the women's soccer program as team manager, as well as coaching at their summer camps. At South Eugene, he played three years on varsity, and was the team's captain, leading scorer, and Outstanding Offensive Player Award recipient, while being selected first-team all-conference and leading the league in scoring. He is currently playing with the U of O men's club soccer team. In school, he is a Romance Language major and member of the Robert D. Clark Honors College.
